Xiaomi is the new name on the global smartphone market and it has been closely compared to Apple. While the company has a different approach with its business dealings, their devices seems like they are heavily inspired by Apple’s iPhones.
On the other hand, many analysts are claiming that Xiaomi, is in fact, better than Apple and the latter should recognized the company from China as a major threat to its domination. Back in 2010 when Xiaomi first started, the company has already absorbed many market shares from Apple in their home turf.
Also, Xiaomi has a different practice in it sales. The manufacturer aims at making money from after sale cost recovery and hardware sales. Furthermore, Xiaomi is not shy of making full use of their creativity with every new product.
The latter is totally opposite to Apple’s approach in creating a new iPhone. The Cupertino-based company has this bad habit of keeping the upgrades at its minimum to rip as much profits from its popularity.
The future of Xiaomi looks brighter than ever as they have signed big names like Google’s former VP Hugo Barra. The lad is only one of the many experienced professionals that Xiaomi has hired.
At this rate, it won’t be long before Xiaomi stamp its presence as the iPhone killer. After all, Apple’s iPhones are now regarded as just another smartphone instead of being something extraordinary.
