There are 2 types of greatness in this world. One, those who worked hard and got the rewards for it. Two, those who are born a genius. The latter is what best describes 5 year old Ocean Beach boy, Kristoffer Von Hassel.
Kristoffer is a boy wonder after making a name for himself for bypassing the Xbox Live tight security. It all started last year when it was days away from the New Year. Kristoffer was spotted to log in his father’s Xbox Live account by his mother.
The boy revealed that he was afraid that the dad will find out. Instead, the father got excited and was wondering on how Kristoffer did it. After all, the father is a computer security officer and has a vast knowledge of technology.
The 5 year-old then revealed that after being prompted for keying in the wrong password, space keys was keyed in before pressing on submit. Doing so will bypass all the security in the Xbox Live.
The father was so proud of his son for being a tech genius even at 5 years old. This is not something new for Kristoffer. At the age of 1, the kid was able to bypass the lock screen on the smartphone by holding onto the device’s Home button.
As for the lapse in security, the father and son duo reported to Microsoft about it. The US tech giant was very appreciative of Kristoffer’s effort and was applauded publicly on Microsoft’s website. As a reward, Kristoffer received four new games, $50 in cash and a year of Xbox Live for free.
Kristoffer further revealed that when he grows up, he wants to be a gamer. Call it whatever you want but Kristoffer is a tech prodigy.
