It wasn’t that long ago when both next-gen consoles got released and things are already not looking good for the Xbox One. While bugs and glitches are seen as a common issue with new products, the Xbox One is reported to be experiencing something far worse than that.
Two users revealed that they spotted white, sticky liquid leaking from the console. It left behind a white residue which stains the case. The substance is believed to be oily in nature and came out of the vent which houses the Xbox One’s heatsink fan.
Microsoft can breathe a slight sigh of relief as the problem doesn’t involve calling back an entire batch of shipment. Something mass produced will often see a drop in quality or factory errors. It is unlucky for the two users who among all, got the rotten Xbox One.
Some tech experts hinted that it could be due to the melting thermal compound applied between the GPU/CPU and heatsink of the console. On the other hand, a handful of gadget freaks revealed it to be the result of a malfunctioning capacitor.
At the moment, Microsoft has yet to respond to this issue. If you are encountering a similar problem, do seek assistance from Microsoft immediately.
