If you haven’t heard of the latest single “Hello” from Adele, chances are you’re probably living under a rock. No, really, because it’s been played over and over again on radios, but surprisingly, we’re still not sick of it yet (and probably never will). Yes, it’s that good.
Accordingly, the record won’t be made available to Spotify and other streaming services like Apple Music and Deezer either. But why? There’s a statement provided to one of our sources stating that the Adele’s record company still hopes to be able “to give her fans the opportunity to enjoy 25 alongside 19 and 21 very soon”. Our only chance for now would be to buy it (or, shh, steal it from BitTorrent).
And if you’re wondering that Adele is the only one keeping her songs away from streaming websites, she isn’t alone. Taylor Swift made huge news previously as she caused a major row when she lashed out against Spotify for supposedly ripping off artists and refused to make her album available to the service. So, she’s the meaner one here, no offense to Swifties.
Well, whether or not Adele is going to provide us the opportunity to listen to her music on the streaming services, we’ll still be purchasing her album. It’s still going to be a big hit.
