The creators of topselling game Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock, have chosen to leave Valve. Fans were left surprised by this announcement as many of them had predicted that the game would be released soon, however with this latest information the future of the zombie apocalypse is unknown and it is uncertain whether a Left 4 Dead 3 will even be made. Even if it is, then fans may have to wait a long time until the game actually makes it onto the shelves.
Turtle Rock’s Phil Robb has claimed that now that they are no longer working with Valve they will be able to put their attention towards a new IP, Evolve. He said that the developers had been keen on Envolve right from the start, however could not act on anything due to Valve restricting them from doing so. He added that the game will be similar to Left 4 Dead in the way that gamers will have to work with one another throughout the game.
Turtle Rock added that for the time being they are finished with the Left 4 Dead franchise, however have not officially announced that a Left 4 Dead would not be developed, so fans have been left confused as to what the future holds for them. If they do choose to create a Left 4 Dead 3, then fans can expect that they may have to wait at least a year until after they have finished with Evolve.
