Almost all smartphone users install Waze to their phones for navigation – it alerts you with the traffic conditions and speed traps, and gives you the best route to avoid the traffic jams. However, its user interface quality is not that great.
Now, Google wants to change it with an entirely made-over version of its iOS application that provides cleaner, less-cluttered interface design and faster time for the app to report the traffic problems. With the new version, the alert feature is more prominent when Waze offers a de-cluttered map.
Besides that, the car icon has been relocated to the bottom-left. If you are running out of time, you can add a report as it makes you easier and faster to join the Waze community when you know which button to press.
When you tap the bottom menu, it will slide up to give you easy access to the “add a stop” feature, alternate routes and a shortcut to send your ETA to other people. Still, Waze need to improve on certain things, like the cartoon-ish icons and the MPH button.
