It looks like the new Watch Dog 2 will be a little different than the standard Ubisoft games. While players would normally be asked to open up the map by going to new areas and completing missions, you don’t have to do that in the new Watch Dog 2 game.
According to Jonathan Morin, the creative director of Ubisoft, the new Watch Dog 2 won’t require players to explore the world to open up the map. Instead, the players will have to gain for virtual followers.
He explained that the players will only have a few players in the beginning but they will need more if they want to complete some of the big operations. Each new followers will allow the players to spread their web even further.
New missions and operations will pop up the more followers they get. He also added that players can unlocked most of the game without progressing through the story. It will be interesting to see how this all pans out when the game arrives.
