Now that Volkswagen has taken the covers off the new Volkswagen Tiguan, we should be seeing a couple of variants in the near future.
Auto Express reported that Volkswagen is looking to bring in a new seven-seat model based on the Volkswagen Tiguan. Thanks to the new MQB platform that the Volkswagen Tiguan is riding on, Volkswagen will have more freedom.
Besides teasing that there might be a seven-seat option of the Volkswagen Tiguan, Volkswagen also added that they might be working on a five-door coupe model that they will use to compete with models like the Range Rover Evoque.
While we are all for more variants of the Tiguan, the fans seem to be less enthusiastic about the five-door coupe model as many commented that they hope Volkswagen will not be going down that route.
