Volkswagen has made quite a name for themselves when they started offering those impressive diesel powered model but it all backfired when it was discovered that they were cheating.
Now that their diesel plans seem to have failed, Volkswagen is now focusing on providing us all with 30 EV powered models by 2025. Called the Strategy 2025 program, Volkswagen will be developing three new EV platforms that will be the base for the 30 new EV that they will be offering in the near future.
We know that one of the three that they will be working on is the Modular Electric Toolkit platform which will be fitted under their upcoming electric-powered van based on the Budd-e concept that was shown off not too long ago.
We do know if EV powered models will be enough for Volkswagen to dig themselves out of the diesel hole so it will be interesting to see where all of these will bring Volkswagen in the future.
