We were already pretty disappointed that Volkswagen decided not to offer the Volkswagen Amarok here in the US and they are not making things any easier for us with the upgrade Volkswagen Amarok.
Volkswagen will be giving their Volkswagen Amarok a new upgrade that will include an upgraded engine. Under the hood sits a new 3.0 liter six cylinder diesel engine that will be delivering about 221hp and 405lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission. The vehicle will come with both rear wheel drive option or all-wheel drive option.
Besides getting a new engine, the Volkswagen Amarok will also come with a few exterior upgrades including the LED daytime running lights, bi-xenon headlights, new bumper, wheels, and air vents.
The new Volkswagen Amarok upgrade would make the truck a perfect competitor to some of the trucks we have in the market right now.
