The Samsung Galaxy S5 in all its variants is set for release in April and it passed the FCC this week. The models confirmed are Verizon (SM-G900V), AT&T (SM-G900A), and T-Mobile (SM-G900T) among others.
The version heading to Verizon is compatible with LTE bands 4 and 13 and both of these are a large part of the network of Big Red. There is also the option of being able to roam with GSM 850 and 1900. Over at T-Mobile and AT&T the device has compatibility with LTE 2,4,5 and 17 and while the GSM bands don’t match, you should be able to use them between carriers after unlocking.
The Sprint version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 hasn’t made its way through FCC yet, unless we are looking for the wrong model number. We thought that it would be the SM-G900P while we are seeing model numbers of SM-G900S, SM-G900H, and SM-G900F.
