Samsung Galaxy S4 users on Verizon are in for some great news as they will be the first to receive the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
The carrier has already launched the KitKat OTA and S4 users on the network should get a message prompting for the update.
On the other hand, S4 users can check for the KitKat manually by going over to Software Update listed in the device’s settings.
The KitKat is a major coming for the Samsung Galaxy S4 as it includes improvements to the UI, an interface that is faster, transitions that are smoother, better battery life, an interface that is faster and better experience with Android.
On top of that, S4 users will enjoy Verizon exclusive apps like multi-windows support, Play Magazine and Play News Stand, ISIS Wallet and Google Wallet, Google Photo changes and support for Hangouts SMS.
At the moment, only the S4 is getting updated. Soon, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the Note 3 will get their slice of the KitKat as well.
