While this may come as a surprise to many, Verizon is among the first in the world to update its Galaxy S4 variants. S4 users on the Big Red can now obtain the update via the Software Update option listed in the device’s settings.
The KitKat for the Galaxy S4 will bring with it many new and improved features. This includes an improved UI, white KitKat status icons, improved camera features, App Drawer, new menus, tweak S features, faster interface, improved battery life, smoother transitions and an enhanced Android experience.
Verizon Galaxy S4 users will get many more like the multi-window support, Google+ Photos changes to Photos, Create Multi-Window Combination feature, Play Magazine now working as Play Newsstand, ISIS Wallet, Verizon Wallet and Google Hangouts SMS support.
It isn’t just with the Samsung Galaxy S4 that is getting updated. The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are also getting the Android KitKat OS as well.
