Verizon and Google often find it hard to get along with each other. After being released for so long, the Nexus 7 is finally selling on the Big Red. Better late than never.
Of course, the Nexus 7 is already of age and Verizon is aware of it. As such, the carrier is selling the tablet for only $49.99. This comes with a 2-years price plan. Without one, the Nexus 7 will cost $349.99.
While it might sound great, the price tag is not entirely impressive as it can be sold for free. Verizon could make enough profit from the contract alone.
On another note, the cheaper price tag of the Nexus 7 is certainly a disappointment for those who rushed their purchase. The tablet started selling on the network on February this year and back then, it cost $249.99 with a two-year contract. We have yet to reach two month and the Nexus 7 now cost $50.
Nevertheless, consumers looking for a cheap tablet can opt for the Nexus 7. It will be coming with the 7” display that offers 1920x1200p resolution with 323ppi. This is powered by the quad-core 1.5GHz processor with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5MP rear camera and 3950mAh battery.
