The Google Nexus 5 smartphone has certainly redefined value for money. This flagship phone was released late last year and while it is already selling on major carriers worldwide, Verizon hasn’t joined the Nexus movement.
As we all know, the Big Red has failed to take in any Nexus products and it will come as a surprise to everyone if the Nexus 5 was launched by the carrier this late in the game as many rumors suggest.
It is unsure if Verizon might make it big with the Nexus 5. After all, there have been many rumours suggesting the Nexus 6 to come on the second half of this year. Word has it that Google will unveil the Nexus 6 during this year’s I/O conference.
As such, expect the Nexus 6 to start selling weeks after the I/O conference. Of course, the biggest mystery lies with the phone maker. The Nexus 4 and 5 has had its spell of success with LG. It is unsure if this Korean brand will continue with the Nexus 6. There are other brands like LG, Motorola and Lenovo all rumoured to take the helm.
Nevertheless, a Nexus smartphone has yet to disappoint and the Nexus 6 won’t be the first. When it arrives, it will definitely compete with the likes of iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5.
