The Android 4.4.2 KitKat is possibly the best OS to come from Google and most smartphone manufacturers are already sending out the update to their respective devices.
However, the Verizon LG G2 is about to get more than what is being offered. It appears that users of the G2 on the Verizon network can already obtain the KitKat via OTA. In spite of that, it is the unofficial build of the OS and applying it to the G2 will require some basic knowledge in ADB.
To begin with, users will have to get the flash stock build VS98012B and ensure that their G2 is rooted with AutoPrime. Once done, download the bin file and rename it before placing it in a specific folder, in the G2. Then, users will have to key in the commands in ADB accordingly.
If everything is done correctly, the LG G2 will reboot and run on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. The process will be an easy one for those with rooting experience. Without it, we advise for them to stay away from this process or risk damaging their smartphone.
