Anyone with the carrier Verizon who has the LG G2 will be happy to hear some good news. This is that they have finally revealed the unofficial build of KitKat 4.4.2 OTA. Before you get too excited though it isn’t easy getting your hands on it and you do have to have a little bit of knowledge about ADB. If you are used to installing custom ROMs this is not going to bother you of course.
To get started you will need the stock build VS98012B and you do have to root your handset. You can use AutoPrime to do this and it isn’t hard to do, although it is a little on the tedious side.
When you have rooted, you should then download the bin file and rename it. You should then take it to the LG G2 in a specified folder and type in the commands in ADB.
If you do everything correctly the device will reboot and you will then have KitKat 4.4 installed on your device. This is just for the Verizon version of the LG G2.
