LG G2 users on the Verizon network are in for some great news. They can already start downloading the new Android KitKat OS today. While it might not be the official build, the KitKat was pushed out OTA and installing it requires some knowledge on ADB.
If you wish to proceed with the installation, then you will need to start with the flash stock build VS98012B for their G2. Also, they will need to root their device with AutoPrime.
Once that is completed, users can start downloading the bin file and rename it before placing it in a specific folder located in the G2. Once done, the open up ADB and key in the commands accordingly.
If done right, the LG G2 should restart and boot up with the KitKat as the OS. In reality, the process is a rather simple one for those who have some experience with rooting an Android smartphone. If not, then we don’t quite recommend updating the LG G2 through this mean.
