HTC was pretty confident that they will be able to make use of the CDMA network from Verizon despite the fact that the HTC One A9 is an LTE smartphone but after months of trying to make it work for them, HTC has finally given up and is now offering to refund and discount to the HTC One A9 Verizon customers.
Customers that bought the unlock version of the smartphone will be receiving a discount and refund after HTC confirmed that after testing it out, they found out that they are unable to “support the Verizon network on the unlock version.
To make it up to their customers, HTC will not only be refunding those customers that has bought the HTC One A9 unlocked version but they will also be offering them a 20% off any HTC smartphone they buy before the 31st of December this year which could include the upcoming new flagship model.
