Verizon HTC One 2 May Hit Shelves Before Samsung Galaxy S5

A recent leak which revealed the FCC listing for the HTC One 2 on AT&T has been the caused a major buzz in the world of smartphones. However, the leak got removed not long after it was uploaded.

Today, that same leak has re-appeared on the web which suggests that the highly anticipated HTC One 2 will be on Band 4, 13 and global roaming for both the AT&T and Verizon variants.

This wasn’t the case with the existing HTC One which had a failed launch with Verizon last year. The Big Red carrier from the US took months to release the HTC One. It is unsure on what have caused the delay back then but both HTC and Verizon wouldn’t want to experience a repeated event with the HTC One 2.

Due to the events from the past, HTC will look to hasten the One 2’s release and the leak strongly hints that this will happen. This upcoming device from the Taiwanese company might even arrive earlier than the Galaxy S5.

On the other hand, the HTC One 2 has yet to be unveiled by the manufacturer. However, a launch for the device is already in place waiting for execution. The rival, Samsung Galaxy S5, is already waiting for its release date.
