Apple iPhone might be the most premium smartphones in the industry but upon purchasing the device, the support services turned from hero to zero. One user reported his misery with Apple support where it took the lad countless attempts to get some assistance.
The user shared that he found his iPhone 5 to have faulty batteries. The lad traveled for three hours just to get to an Apple service centre. The faulty iPhone 5 received new batteries and things were thought to be fine back then but in reality, the issue still persists.
The victim mentioned that his iPhone 5 battery depletes quickly and took forever to charge. Also, the device will shut down the moment battery level hits 43%. Out of frustration, the fellow called Apple support only to get disconnected when being placed on hold. The same happened for the next few calls. After many tries, the victim finally got a replacement smartphone without having to liaise with a telco.
The way Apple support works is just horrible. It is understandable that the workers might be tired from non-stop calls for aid but to leave a customer hanging in frustration is simply wrong.
Some iPhone users hint on a shortcut to skip a waiting time when calling up Apple Support. It is through installing Fast Consumer app. The app basically pushes a call to Apple Support and performs a call back service once an advisor is on the line. The app has been rated pretty well and it wouldn’t hurt to try.
