This does not apply well for the iPhone 5S as it still cost more than the Apple’s off-contract MSRP of $649. Regardless, the iPhone 5S is still enjoying $400 discount as it is being sold between $691 and $699.99 compared to the original price of $1,100.
Of course, you can save more with the much older iPhone 5. For the 16GB variant, there is a price tag of $514.88. This is a massive saving after looking at the original price of $700.
Going for a much smaller budget, consumers can find the iPhone 4S 16GB which is selling at $324.95. However, the device is not unlocked and is tied to Verizon. On the other hand, there is no contract that the consumers must commit to.
Then there is the iPhone 4 8GB which has returned and consumers can obtain it for only $202.99. Like the 4S, this is not carrier unlocked as well. 8GB wouldn’t be enough. As such, there is the 16GB version to choose from for only $204.90.
Anything under $200 will have to be with the iPhone 3GS. The 8GB variant has also returned and consumers can get them for only $139.90. The downside is that it is not unlocked and is the AT&T version.
The price drop of the iPhones will certainly spark much new speculation on the iPhone 6 to come much earlier this year. Of course, we can expect more information on this upcoming device come WWDC next month.
