The Xbox 360 version of Minecraft have been enjoying the Marvel skin packs and now, 4J Studios is looking to narrow the gap between the Microsoft console and the Sony PS3.
Two skin packs are released to the Minecraft for PS3. One of them is a Sony-themed skin pack which brings in skins for Nathan Drake from Unchartered, the four primary characters from Heavy Rain and some characters from Killzone and Sly Cooper.
The other skin pack offers koalas, cavemen, octopus and Cleopatra. Now, PS3 Minecrafters can play dress-up by applying the skin packs.
4J Studios also roll out the an update to Minecraft which adds Ender Chests, the ability to dye wolf collars, more porkchop drops, a city pack and a plastic pack. Of course, these are all available on the Xbox 360 version of the game.
While there might be some sense of rivalry between the Minecraft for Xbox 360 and Minecraft PS3, 4J Studios are doing their best to keep things even.
