It is no secret that Unchartered 4 is currently in development and it will be the first Unchartered title to debut on the latest PS4. It has been 3 years since Unchartered 3 got released and 2014 looks like the right time for Naughty Dog to roll out Unchartered 4.
There isn’t much information revealed by the game developer but fans can get an idea of Unchartered 4 just by watching the teaser trailer which was released in November last year.
The video hints that the game will be located at Cape Agulhas(L’Agulhas), South Africa. Other locations involved are Cape of Good Hope and Ile Sainte Marie. The latter is a popular destination for pirates and it was set up by Captain James Mission.
As such, it is safe to assume that Unchartered 4 will follow the path of Assassin’s Creed 4 by having a pirate theme to it. Also, there is the narration on the trailer which suggests that someone from Drake’s past has returned and is thirsty for revenge on the protagonist.
As for the fans, their expectations are fixed. All the fans want in Unchartered 4 are Drake to be the protagonist, better shooting mechanics, improved collectibles, more mobility like Tomb Raider, more difficult puzzles and an enhanced experience since the game will be for the PS4.
All in all, this upcoming fourth sequel will be the biggest title yet to debut on the PS4. Fans can expect to hear more announcement on Unchartered 4 during this year’s E3. Who knows? Naughty Dog might surprise the world by releasing the game during the event.
