Toyota will be issuing a recall to recall back two of their models. One of the models that will be affected is the Toyota RAV4. The other model that was including in the recall was the Lexus HS200h model, the first dedicated hybrid that Toyota has offered.
The vehicle was only offered with a hybrid powertrain and came riding on the Scion tC platform. The hybrid was a flop and there isn’t really a whole lot of units out there so the RAV4 will be more affected by the recall. According to the report, the rear suspension arm’s tie roads might get loose or corrode. If that happens, the suspension might fail.
A total of 337,449 units will be affected. Toyota RAV4’s that will be affected will include the 2006 – 2011 Toyota RAV4. Affected models will be getting a rear suspension arm replacement. Toyota will also be fixing the locknut with epoxy.
