Yes, this is the Toyota GT86 Shooting Brake Concept and it is real. The concept even made a few turns about the Toyota test track. The only problem now is that we will most likely never see it on the road.
According to Toyota, the Toyota GT86 Shooting Brake Concept was designed by their design team in Australia. The design was made into a 1/4 scale clay model but Toyota was so impressed with it that he wanted to make it into a full-scale concept model.
The design is based on the GT86 but instead of the standard roof, the concept was given a grafted-on wagonette roof and hatch. According to Toyota, they are just testing things out.
While it does not seem like Toyota will be making this into a production model, we can’t help but wish they would. Check out the concept design and tell us what you think.
