Titanfall is the newest IP to arrive and the game has managed to live up to the expectations of the fans. However, things are not going to end there for the FPS title. Respawn Entertainment are about to make the already great Titanfall better with the DLCs lined up for it.
The game developer revealed that 3 DLCs will be coming to Titanfall this year and it will add in more new maps into the game. The DLCs are chargeable at $10 each but those on the Season Pass can enjoy all three of them for only $25.
Respawn’s community manager, Abbie Heppe, revealed that the DLC will not only be limited to map packs. Players who purchased them will also get more monsters from the official artwork book added into the game. Of course, these creatures will have to go through a lot of balancing to make it into Titanfall.
Vince Zampella went on to assure fans that anything that is core to Titanfall won’t be chargeable. It is just for optional additional contents like map packs and such. The upcoming Private Match option is one perfect example of a free addition.
As good as Titanfall maybe, it lacks a Free-For-All mode which is core to every FPS game. Respawn is aware of that and will consider adding them in the future.
All in all, Titanfall has the potential to grow into a big brand in the FPS category. Pilots! Are your ready?
