Respawn Entertainment have received plenty of Kudos for their latest gaming title, Titanfall. This brand new FPS franchise offers a unique gameplay and has been a chart-topper when it debut in mid-March last month.
In the light of April Fool, the game developer rolled out a teaser video which sees the leader of Autobots, coming into the game. The joke was pretty obvious as Respawn avoided all copyright infringement for using Optimus Prime.
The game developer prevented Optimus from using his full catchphrases and even designed the powerful alien creature goofily.
On the other hand, there are the fans who couldn’t take it as a joke. It seems like most April Fool’s joke from game developers appears to be like an awesome idea. Now, the fans are chiming for Respawn Entertainment to bring in the real Optimus Prime into Titanfall.
The game developer is probably scratching their heads and will have to consider talking to Hasbro to get the rights to Transformers. Who knows? There might be an Autobots vs Decepticon DLC coming to Titanfall in the future.
