After so much hype built towards its release, Titanfall has finally arrived on the PC, Xbox One and soon, the Xbox 360. Microsoft certainly has an eye for great games as the company sealed the deal for Titanfall’s exclusivity.
Sony has made it no secret that they want this brand new AAA title on their consoles as well. Instead of dealing with Sony, the game developer, Respawn Entertainment, went out and reach out Aspyr Media to port Titanfall to the Macs.
The studio’s co-founder, Vince Zampella, confirmed this last night on Twitter when being asked by a Mac gamer. Vince revealed that talks with Aspyr are already in place and both parties want to see it happen.
Unless you’ve heard, Aspyr is the only distributor that brings AAA games to the Mac desktops. They have done so for Call of Duty 4 and are now looking at Titanfall.
Mac gamers are certainly excited following this piece of news. It is not all doom and gloom for the folks at Sony as there is still a chance for Titanfall to come their way, although that won’t be anytime soon.
