Cheating can be fun but if utilized in social engaging games, it can have dire consequences. Most game developers do not endorse cheating and if a player is caught or reported to do so, he/she will be banned automatically.
This is not quite the case for the latest Titanfall game. Respawn Entertainment revealed that if any players are caught cheating when playing this latest FPS title, they will still be able to play the game. However, the game developer added that it will be a special lobby which is full of cheaters.
Respawn sees it like the Wimbledon of aimbot contests. Cheekily, the game developer hoped that gamers who cheated have the best cheats around if they are going to face opponents that share the same calibre and expertise.
On the other hand, there are the friends of the cheaters. Today’s consoles have that ability to invite the cheaters to an invite session. If the cheaters are registered in a public server, they will automatically be apprehended together with the friend. The latter will then be thrown into the cheaters’ lobby. Lucky for them, this will be temporarily.
If you’re a cheater, you might want to think twice before doing any cheats. After all, cheating is just a cheap excuse to abuse other players. As such, it is sure going to be a headache for the cheaters if they face another one of their kind.
Players who have been accused of cheating can plead their case by sending an email to [email protected].
