The iPhone might be developed with security in mind, but it seems that the devices running on Android and Windows OS are my secured than their iOS counterparts. Yes, the find my iPhone feature has played a crucial role in curbing phone thefts but is is not enough to stop thieves.
Soon, Android and Microsoft operated smartphones will be introducing a new system called a kill switch. It is a single button that deems the device no longer usable. This way, thieves can no longer make any money from the stolen goods.
This is something that is not found on the Apple iPhones and iPads. This feature should be a norm regardless of what the platform the device is on. At least, it sounds like the most effective last resort around. That way, your loss won’t be a thief’s gain.
Evil-doers who are reading this are best-advised to stay away from Android and Windows smartphones. It is not worth the effort. Why the iPhones are complicated, they are still the easier target.
