CD Projekt RED has announced the official release date of their upcoming and final installment in their Witcher Trilogy, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, during the company’s live stream. The game will release on February 24th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
A new story trailer has been uploaded revealing some major plot points such as Yennifer who was mentioned in the past couple of Witcher games and it’s Geralt’s past-love. It appears that she may have an actual impact in this game’s storylne.
The game is also expected to support cross-platform save importing but the game’s official twitter account didn’t confirm it nor deny it.

Also a released pic shows that one of the mini-games will be about horse-racing.

We can expect to get more info out of this game at E3 as it has been teased with a reply stating “might be sooner than you expect” through twitter. The Witcher 3 might be finally getting some gameplay footage during E3 days.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches on February 24th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and you can pre-order now from GOG only for $54.
