The Order 1886 is the next major gaming title coming to the PS4 and it is due to arrive in a matter of days from now. Like every epic adventure title, The Order 1886 will look to offer players the best cinematic gaming experience.
Of course, The Order 1886 would be great but I fear for the black bars to affect the gameplay. Remember Dragon’s Dogma on the PS3? Well, it is without a doubt one of the best games I’ve played but unfortunately, I was heavily bothered by the ultra-thick black bars covering the top and bottom of the screen.
This is something that needs control. As much as some games are built to offer great cinematic, they tend to exaggerate the black bars. Game developers, hopefully Ready At Dawn, should remember that games are games, not movies.
With The Order 1886 going to optimize the PS4’s 1080p graphics, I fear that it might look like the movies I have downloaded on my computer. The best solution is for The Order 1886 to limit black bars for its cut-scenes. Do you agree?
