Ever since Nintendo released the new footages for the game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, fans have been speculating about whether or not this Link is a new Link or maybe an old Link that has come back to save the day once more.
Some clues in the game suggest that the Link is not a new Link but an older one. Fans believe that in the footages when Link opens up a chest after getting revived, the clothes inside was described as bring too small indicating that the clothes might have belonged to him when he was much younger.
Then there is the voice saying that the protagonist is their link that the light must shine on Hyrule once again. The fact that it said once again could mean that this is not the first time Link defeated Ganon.
Of course, it could also be the fans reading too much into it? What do you think? Who is this Link?
