At the moment Lexux are busy making the RX Facelift and the vehicle will be on the market later on in the year. It has been said that the RX Facelift will come with many upgrades even though it is a mid-cycle refresh.
The future RX350 and RX450 will be given a whole new appearance to begin with. The RX Facelift will, more importantly, have a better performance rating than what the current RX models have.
The reason for that is that the RX Facelift is made from aluminium. Lexus have clearly stated that the weight of the RX Facelift has been brought down due to aluminium being used. Due to the weight of the vehicle being less, the car is more optimized for power and will be more fuel efficient.
Obviously Lexus have not given us any performance figures for the RX Facelift yet. When Lexus launch the finished RX Facelift at some point over the next few months we will be told more information about it.
