Just one week following the release of iOS 7.1 the community of jailbreakers heard about a jailbreak from 7jailbreak.com. However it didn’t seem to be above board as the website said that it would work with the latest iPhone 5S and that owners didn’t have to connect their device to a computer for the jailbreak to work.
The jailbreak was supposed to be associated with Joshua Hill a well-known jailbreaker going by the name of POsixninja.
However Hill spoke up and he said that he didn’t have anything at all to do with the jailbreak and that it was just another hoax. Some owners of iPhones did try it and they found that it loaded their phones with ads.
So the wait for the jailbreak continues on.
