We already knew that Tesla was working on a fourth model when Elon Musk tweeted about it last year. Called the Tesla Model Y, it is believed that the Tesla Model Y will be coming to sit about the Model 3.
Many believe the new Model y will work like the Model X for the Model S whereby it will be-be coming in with a rear-wheel drive base spec. There is a possibility that it might be coming in with a Ludicrous mode and autopilot self-driving tech as well.
Another thing that was hinted in the past was the Falcon Wings door. The consumers were blown away by the huge falcon wing doors on the Model X and when asked if the wings were going to make it onto another model. Elon Musk hinted that we might see it on the Model 3 or Model Y. Since it is obvious the Model 3 will not be getting it, many believe the Model Y will but with all the problems Tesla has been having with the Falcon Wings door, we are saying that Tesla might ditch the doors for a more standard version.
