Delivery of first Tesla Model X examples are expected to happen on September 29, however that deadline is becoming closer and closer and it seems like Tesla are still making some adjustments to the final specs of the crossover. Consumers are still kept in the dark about a number of things when it comes to the CUV as well.
Green Car Reports have stated that buyers building the Model X Signature Series on the reservation page online are currently viewing the EPA-estimated range at 250 miles compared to 240 miles from only several weeks back. At this moment in time the Signature Series is the only version of the crossover with the option of those reservations. The vehicle’s pricetag begins at $132,000 and includes a 90-kWh battery, an air suspension along with GPS memory, Tesla’s Autopilot system and more. When the vehicle is given the $10,000 Ludicrous Speed upgrade, the company state that it can go to 60 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds. When the standard Model X comes out onto the market, Elon Musk states that it will most likely cost around $5,000 more than a comparable Model S.
Future owners are also given a bit more of an insight about the cargo capacity of the Model X thanks to recent update. Teslarati state that the automaker has some new pictures up on the build page that show the vehicle with the third-row seats folded down.. One of the pictures has a bicycle laying in the back whist another one has the back packed full of boxes. It is not certain yet whether the second row can be collapsed as well. In both images it looks like the chairs are upright but have been adjusted forward. Luckily all our questions will be answered in the near future.
