Tesla has been constantly working on upgrading the safety features of their Tesla Model S and this time, the upgrade will be for the Summon features.
Tesla revealed that there were working on it last month and now the upgrade is ready. According to Tesla, the new Model S safety will improve with Summon since it will come with additional safety features. With the upgrade, the Tesla Model S will stop moving once the owner’s finger is disconnected from the smartphone or fob.
The Summon feature will also allow the owners to summon their Tesla Model S from the garage although some people are saying that the feature is almost useless since the Tesla Model S will most likely be plugged in.
Drivers can also use the Summon feature to get the vehicle to park itself is tight places. This feature will come in handy on the Tesla Model X since it comes with those huge Falcon doors.
