It sucks to be a T-Mobile user right now as they are still stuck with the Android 4.4.4 KitKat whereas those on the other telcos are already enjoying the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Well, T-Mobile is aware of the growing frustration and this has led the carrier to launch an update tracking webpage on its official website. There, T-Mobile customers can trace, track and check on the status of the update.
The website also explained on the development process of an update. There are three stages involved and they are Manufacturer Development, T-Mobile Testing, and Completed. Users simply have to input their device model and check to see on which stage they are at.
Even so, the customers are still furious, especially those using the Sony Xperia Z3 as their device is not listed there despite owning it in less than 4 months ago. Other missing names include the Samsung Galaxy S4, LG G3 and many more.
To make things worse, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is still at stage one, even when Samsung has already released the Android 5.0 Lollipop to the tablet earlier this month.
In short, T-Mobile is simply too sluggish with the Android 5.0 Lollipop and the customers are not happy about it. The carrier better step up their game or face the never-ending waves of complains.
