Super Smash Bros Wii U & 3DS Release Date Looks To Be A Pre-Holiday Rumble

There has recently been some news for anyone who has been waiting to hear about Super Smash Bros for the Wii U. Those waiting were treated to a screenshot that was posted online last week and it seems that Final Smashes are going to be making their way back into the game. Right now we don’t have confirmation but it does happen to be the biggest news that we have had for some time. It is thought that Nintendo may reveal something at the E3 in June.

Nintendo have been kept busy with Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Bravely Default, these games came out in February. Attention was then out on Yoshis New Island, but this arrived to mixed reviews. It is thought that Mario Kart Wii U will come out in May this year, this is to be one of the two biggest releases this year for Nintendo, with the other being Smash Bros.

Fans have been worried about the 3DS version of the game as this may turn out to be a big mistake. Silence about it could mean that development is on track.

We have no idea when Super Smash Bros will come out; fans had been hoping that it would be June to July. But this doesn’t seem likely now, even if the game should be ready. Nintendo will not want to launch it in the summer. Along with Super Mario 3D World this is going to be one of the biggest launches, that is until we hear from Nintendo about Zelda on the Wii U. Nintendo isn’t going to risk wasting it by launching it in the summer months. Far more likely is the fact that they will launch in around Thanksgiving in time for the holidays.
