The game Splatoon already has three amiibos out now. The amiibos were released last year by Nintendo. The three we have now are the Inkling Boy, Inkling Girl as well as the Inkling Squid and it looks like there will be more coming.
The information was leaked by NWPlayer123, who has a record of knowing details about Splatoon before anybody else. The tipster tweeted saying that we will be seeing the Squid Sisters amiibo soon.
This was after he found the files named AmiiboIdolA and AmiiboIdolB in the files. It is believed that the files were added when the game was updated earlier this year. The name does not reveal who it will be but he seems confident that the amiibos will be the Squid Sisters.
While it is nice to know that we will be getting new amiibos, it looks like the fans would have preferred it if the amiibos was for the octoling.
