2014 concluded with two great smartphones topping the ratings charts. They are the Apple iPhone 6 and the Sony Xperia Z3. Today, we are going to compare both devices and find out which of the two is better.
In terms of design, we dare say that every consumer will greatly appreciate with the new styling of the iPhone 6 and also the Sony Xperia Z3. The difference between the two is that the latter is both water and dust proof certified by IP68.
Going into detail with the specs, the iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7” screen that runs on 1334x750p resolution. The Z3, on the other hand, comes with a 5.2” with 1080p resolution. Clearly, the Z3’s screen is sharper than the iPhone 6.
In terms of cameras, the Z3’s 20.7MP rear shooter and 2.2MP front shooter are more stunning than the iPhone 6’s decent 8MP rear camera and 1.2MP front snapper.
Under the hood, the iPhone 6 is powered by the Apple A8 processor while running on the iOS 8. The Sony Xperia Z3, on the other hand, is powered by Snapdragon 805 processor while running on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.
Both the Z3 and iPhone 6 are more than capable of handling every mobile application around. However, it is the iPhone 6 that offers the best software-hardware integration.
As great as both smartphone are, we still feel that the Sony Xperia Z3 is the better of the two. This is particularly due to its ability to support external miemory while also being relatively cheaper to the iPhone 6.
