They say that it is always better to be late than to never come. This is how Sony Xperia Z3 users describe the Android 5.0 Lollipop update that is still pending to arrive to their smartphone.
The good news is that Sony is finally beginning to share on the Lollipop update roadmap for the Xperia Z3. The tech-giant from Japan revealed that both France and Indonesia version of the Z3 will be receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update next week.
To be more precise, the update will also involve the Z3 Compact and also the older Xperia Z2 all at the same time. While the users of the aforementioned smartphones might be frustrated with the long wait, the arrival of the Lollipop should be able to turn their frown upside-down.
When the update arrives, it will allow the Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and the Z2 to install apps on the microSD card. Also, battery life will be prolonged further and there will be a new design layout replacing the KitKat styling.
