At the end of this month, Sony Xperia Z2 users over at Australia will be getting the highly anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
This was confirmed by Vodafone Australia earlier today when they claim that Sony will push out the update in Oceana before reaching out to the rest of the world. In other words, Z2 users in Australia will be among the first to enjoy the Android 5.0 Lollipop in the world.
Vodafone concluded their announcement by revealing that they have already received the Lollipop firmware and are now performing some tests with it.
Unfortunately, the carrier failed to indicate any specific date on when the update will be rolled out to the Xperia Z2. Regardless, users can expect the updating process to complete before the start of March next month.
