Both phones are derived from their heavyweight counterparts. However, it is not much for the iPhone 5C as it has a plastic finish. This is not how it was with the iPhone 5S. As for the Xperia Z1, it still maintains that metallic feel.

The iPhone 5C is way behind on this one with its dual-core 1.3GHz CPU A6 chip with 1GB RAM. Of course, there is no competing the smoothness of the iOS.
All in all, the Xperia Z1 Compact is the clear winner. It is like a heavyweight trapped in a featherweight’s body. However, the iPhone 5C is great in its own way.
