The Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2 has finally been updated to the Android 5.1 Lollipop. The update was rolled by Sony yesterday and users of the aforementioned devices must have received the updating prompt by now.
If not, Z3, Z3 Compact and Z2 users should go to their devices’ settings and search for the update manually through the Software Update tab. Of course, be sure to be on the Wi-Fi network since the Lollipop OS is not small in size.
It is revealed that the Lollipop update is sized at about 700MB and it requires about 1.3GB of free space for installation. Performing the update on a mobile network might result in a loss or additional charges for data.
