Smart did hint that they might build an SUV in the future but so far, we have not seen anything from Smart. This has lead many to believe that the SUV might have been taken oof the table but it looks like that is not the case.
Katharina Beck, Daimler’s Product Manager was at the launch of the new Smart Brabus where she hinted that nothing is really off the table for Smart. She added that they are always open to new things and that they will be ready to change to the adapt to the urban drivers needs.
With SUV being so popular right now, many believe that Smart would eventually start working on one. If that happens, the Smart SUV will be coming in to compete with models like the Nissan Juke and Peugeot 2008.
