Intel had just announced that they will be launching the all-new 14nm nanochips known as Skylake somewhere in June this year and the new technology will be instantly replacing the 20nm Broadwell nanochips.
On the other hand, Apple will be looking to launch an all-new generation of MacBook Pro and it is expected to arrive in Q3 this year. If the timing is appropriate, then there is a chance for the MacBook Pro to come with the new Skylake processor.
Such a scenario will surely please the consumers waiting for the new MacBook Pro as the new processors will improve on the performance of the laptop. Among the expected improvements will be better battery life and faster processing speed.
Of course, one can’t be certain if Skylake will be ready for the MacBook Pro on time. Let’s just hope the production is sufficient for the MacBook Pro.
