Intel revealed last month that they are now developing their first ever 14nm nanochips and it will be known as Skylake. The next-gen chips is expected to be available by late June or early July and this gives the upcoming Apple MacBook Pro a chance to equip it.
Of course, this is provided that Skylake does get released within the aforementioned time frame. Also, the final call is only for Apple to make. The Cupertino-based company is not famous for making big upgrades to its products so the chances are higher for the next-gen MacBook Pro to feature Broadwell instead of Skylake.
However, if Apple decides to break the subtle upgrade pattern, then the next-gen MacBook Pro is surely going to become a revolutionary laptop. This is because Skylake will be able to boost the processing speed of the MacBook Pro and also make it more energy efficient.
